Dr. Rebecca Dawson ("we", "our", "the practice") respects your privacy. This policy explains how our website at drrdawson.co.za collects and uses information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

What we collect on this website

When you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to collect anonymous usage data, such as:

  • Approximate location (city/region level)

We do not collect patient health information, medical records, or personal health details through website analytics. Clinical information is handled separately during consultations and is not shared with Google.

  • Bookem — online appointment booking widget. When you book, your details are processed by Bookem according to their privacy policy.

Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. For analytics data held by Google, you may also use Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
